July is more than halfway gone. The days in the calendar just keep dropping. Before we know it, Labor Day is here and then Fall and Halloween is right behind (do you think you’ll get plenty of Halloween invitations this year?). Not long after that, Thanksgiving and the Holidays follow suit.

I must be really getting old. It’s 41 degrees outside and the indoor temps is maintained at 73 degrees and 42 percent humidity yet I’m freezing. I would normally feel okay under these readings but today, it seem to really get through my bones.

To get the ball rolling, I finally tried making something other than smoothie/shake using my Vita-mix machine. It was as easy as the manual indicated. The gray skies yesterday finally turned to blue, but not as warm as I would want it to be. As it is, it’s windy and the temperature is only 55 degrees.
