No, we’re no longer in Rome, but I just wanted to post more pics taken from the great “eternal city”. As you very well know, I’m not a prolific photographer but I just wanted to snap away; trigger happy so to speak. I have more pics posted on my other blogs, just in case you [...] After our morning “appointment” with the Pope, we headed to Villa Borghese, the park created by Cardinal Scipione Borghese in the 1600′s. As expected, the lazy girl in me kicked in because of all the walking that we had to undertake, so I told my husband we were not going to any other area anymore [...] Yes, we are on vacation alright, but my husband can’t take his eyes off the news on what’s going on at Wall Street. Now, he is fixated about the latest development re: Wachovia pulling out of the deal with Citigroup. Apparently, Wells Fargo offered them more money to buy their banking operations. I couldn’t believe what [...] You bet, I did. There was no way I was not going to see Trevi Fountain(Fontana dei Trevi), and throw those three coins. Our timing was perfect, as we saw the fountain when there was still daylight, and later on when the lights were turned on. It is such a work of art. It was very [...] I have never done this in my entire “traveling life”. I mean, head out the hotel room without resting first. Immediately, as soon as we got in to our room at the Excelsior, I unpacked and freshened up a bit. Then off we went to get the most important ticket ever that I consider to [...] We have been devouring these treats every single day since we got here. To upload these pics, it took me a good 15 minutes. I’m not sure if I will try it again. For some reason, our first night here, the net was fine. I have no idea why the slow down the past two days.
