Do you know of anyone who buys his/her Valentine’s Day gift at Christmas time? This is one for the books, as I was also shocked myself. My husband who hates to shop did the unthinkable by buying his V day presents for me last December. These two boxes were safely stored in his office, of course. [...] It’s another long weekend and I’m so glad. It’s always good to have company here at home (the husband). The work week leaves me talking to myself most of the time (of course, that is an exaggeration). But if you are like me (a stay-at-home wife without a kid) you know what I’m talking about. Early [...] I thought I was dreaming when I picked up the phone yesterday at almost noon and I was still in bed. I hastily grabbed the phone on my bedside table, as I was almost sure it was my husband who was on the other end of the line. Was I right. Soon enough he was [...] The day is almost over, but how can I let this day pass without writing about the special day of my partner in crime, my number one critique, my soul mate, my best friend, the man who spoils me to bits, the one and only love and sunshine of my life. Happy birthday Hon! Here’s to [...] It’s bad enough to have gone through IUI(intra-uterine insemination) once and IVF(in-vitro fertilization) three times and nothing came out of it. The roller coaster of emotions was hard to explain. Looking back, I was glad to have tried what is out there that could have helped us have at least one mini-me or my husband’s [...] “I will go with you when the weather gets better.” That is the statement from my husband that I have been hearing continuously almost every Sunday, through the almost ten years of our marriage. In fact, I no longer take this statement seriously; it has already become a joke of sort. Where do I go that he [...] Two weeks went by so fast. Come Monday, I’ll be back to my usual routine as my husband will be going back to work. Needless to say that in the two weeks that he was off from work, we have accomplished a lot of the things that needed our attention. Our big project is moving [...] |
