As of late, there is one thing that I have no control of. That is none other than shoe shopping. After buying four pairs from our French Riviera trip last June, I have acquired two pairs yet again … for Fall (I have not taken shots of them yet). Since April this year, I’m counting eleven [...] On June 28, 2000 we exchanged I do’s. It’s been a decade of love, happiness and bliss. As we celebrate this special day, it’s nice to look back, reminisce and be thankful for all the blessings; and this charmed life. While I’m not really fond of watching TV, I do channel surf more often than not before I hit the sack. Most likely at that time, my husband is already in la-la-land. For almost ten years,this has been the norm, and although, the man of [...] I feel renewed! After spending hours at the spa, my much needed total body ‘tune up’ gave way to a revitalized me. I’m totally ready for fun but grueling days ahead. Ditto for my husband, who as I said is as vain as me. Guess what we did after our spa appointment? We pigged out! I [...] My husband and I are not the typical social butterflies. Our weekends are spent mostly at home and dine out if we feel like it otherwise, food for the weekend is brought in if we opt out with our food delivery for a specific weekend. Our social commitments are streamlined and we don’t want to [...] Do you know of anyone who buys his/her Valentine’s Day gift at Christmas time? This is one for the books, as I was also shocked myself. My husband who hates to shop did the unthinkable by buying his V day presents for me last December. These two boxes were safely stored in his office, of course. [...] It’s another long weekend and I’m so glad. It’s always good to have company here at home (the husband). The work week leaves me talking to myself most of the time (of course, that is an exaggeration). But if you are like me (a stay-at-home wife without a kid) you know what I’m talking about.
