My cooking holiday is in effect since yesterday and I’m loving it, although, I still make fresh vegetables, most of which are just easy to prepare. I was simply lazy to plan my menu for the week last Sunday, and I came up with [...] That I have a foodie for a husband is no big secret. Dishes that I prepare in my own kitchen are well received and consumed by him with gusto, and that is just plain traditional home cooking sans the great presentation that only a Chef can whip up. I wonder how my husband will react [...] Now that I’ve tried Crumbs cupcakes, I can finally say goodbye to Sprinkles (in the meantime while it’s not yet available here in New York). My friend can now finally be free of the burden of sending me ( through UPS same day service) those decadent Sprinkles cupcakes from California. I have tried two flavors [...] One day, his tummy started to “dislike” some of the foods that he used to love. I’m talking about my husband, who is known to be a foodie. Just recently though, he thinks that somehow the chemistry of his body must be changing because he now finds that some dishes that he was used [...] Over the weekend, I was psyched to dig in to a sumptuous Porterhouse steak from Peter Luger, my ultimate favorite steakhouse. So, off we trooped to the Brooklyn location, and in no time we were there. To our dismay, the restaurant was filled to the seams, so we figured we’re better off dining somewhere else. [...] |
