It was but fitting to spend an afternoon at the home of Ireland’s national beer. That is, at the Guinness Storehouse. With the beer-making museum, a gallery of clever ads and the awesome Gravity Bar with panoramic city views, it made for one exciting visit. It was sort of a pilgrimage.

The St. Stephen’s Green Park in Ireland is surrounded by fine Georgian Buildings, although it used to be enclosed in 1664. A city park that was originally a medieval commons is complete with gory public executions. Today, the park is now providing 22 acres of grassy refuge for the people of Dublin.
