The weather here in New York is so temperamental. It’s been very cold (for June) and it’s not that easy to dress properly for the day’s temperature changes. I like to play safe so layering has been the norm the past four days.
However, last Saturday, the sun shone so bright and it was warm enough to wear sandals. But as experience has taught me, the daytime temps can be deceiving and since I anticipated that we will be out in the early evening, a light jacket on hand was a must.
Someone suggested that I should publish bigger photos especially when I’m posting for the Saturday Jaunt series so I happily obliged. I have to say though to please bear with me. As usual I headed out again without a stitch of makeup except for lip tint. I don’t know what’s gotten over me lately that I’m really not in the mood to work on my face. For as long as I have the basic skin care and sunscreen, I feel that I’m good to go. Switching handbags has also been more of a ‘task’ for me. In short, I’m so lazy to coordinate my bag with my outfit. Just the thought of emptying my stuff from the bag I’m currently using and transferring them to another bag is a lot of work. Luckily, I think that this ensemble that I tried to pull off last Saturday was not that bad.
Forgive my amateur photographer. None of these pics were cropped, he just kept aiming and clicking away. In my case, I can’t be too choosy because I can’t afford a professional photographer haha.
Denim on denim? Fashion police, please don’t get me (lol). Okay – they say that it’s fine to wear denim on denim as long as they’re of different denim shade which is the case with what I wore. My jeans came in a darker hue. It was freezing at the restaurant so I needed this denim jacket to keep me warm.
I assume you must be so tired looking at my bare face by now. It’s been a few weeks of the same, but I hope to have my rhythm back soon so I can spare you from the ‘horror’ (lol).
