Without a doubt, my husband loves pasta. It’s unfortunate however that I don’t make pasta often. In fact, I try my best to prepare a pasta dish every week at the most. If you were to ask him, he’d surely prefer to have it thrice a week. Not that I have aversion to pasta, but for reasons known to us, I have made it my conscious effort to lessen our intake of pasta.
And there’s the issue on what kind of pasta. He prefers the original pasta that we used to have all the time. Nowadays, I go from wheat to rice to quinoa, rye, buckwheat pasta and so many more that I can’t roll off in my head. I myself am amazed on the availability of the variety of pastas that I can avail of, thanks to the health food store nearby.
When I’m lazy to cook, pasta saves my day. I can easily whip up a one pot meal by adding veggies in my pasta dish. Although, I still use a couple of pots no matter how streamlined my recipe is.
