Oh well… This post might just be the last for the series. Why? Blame it on the dubious weather here in the Big Apple. But – I previously said the same a few posts back, and I’m still here writing the series haha. Having said that, you may see a resurrected series after a few weeks. As you very well know, the cold temps just makes yours truly want to hibernate and stay indoors in the comfort and warmth of our home. But if it warms up, you’ll be assured that I will seize the opportunity.
The past weekend was unusually warm so I took advantage of it. My skeptic husband had to ask me the same question several times before heading out – “are you sure you’re wearing that skirt?” I can’t blame him though, because he knows that I get cold easily. But the warmer temp made it possible for me to don this hi low skirt, 100 denier tights and my tiger’s eye necklace (which made way for the aqua and brown color palette) which hasn’t seen the light of day for a year. After the sun disappeared however, it became nippy and the temperature dropped. I felt perfectly warm though because I was ready for it (wearing the fur lined booties was a good move).
I had to buy a few of my skin care necessities at the nearby mall. And the predictable creatures that we are, we headed to the 5:00 p.m. anticipated mass, dinner at Seeda Thai and Trader Joe’s later. We were finally home by 9:00 p.m.
We’re on a wait and see mode this weekend. Staying home may be the best option but even that could change if the weather cooperates. Have a relaxing weekend everyone!
