Okay… So, I’m taking back my words, you can shoot me (Lainy, are you there?) hahaha. My Saturday Jaunt series is officially reincarnated, this time, Fall 2013 edition. However, I’m not committing to it because as I’ve written before, I can go into hibernation sooner than the arrival of the real frigid temps here in the Big Apple. We were blessed with surprisingly pleasant temps last Saturday after a few days of gloomy and unpredictable cold weather. With such beautiful weather, I came out of ‘hibernation’ and drove all the way to Long Island. We did nothing extraordinary, in fact, as usual, we headed to the Church of The Blessed Sacrament to hear the Anticipated Sunday mass. I may not have mentioned it before, but this church is our favorite among all the churches that we regularly go to. We were there early, so I had the chance to take some pics. The altar is now garbed in Autumn colors. Prior to church, we just had to drop by Riesterer’s for my weekly ‘sweet treat cheat’. It’s where my ‘paparazzi’ husband snapped these shots. Is he getting better or am I just imagining? Or could it be that Sexie is the perfect background? (LOL) After another Thai dinner (yes two weeks in a row), we dropped by Trader Joe’s to get our produce supply for the week. As always, I was in organic heaven although, I still need to go to two of the nearby health food store to complete our weekly supply. It’s been like this for almost two years already. It’s tiring that I have to go to three places but since we decided to go organic (except for the times that we eat out and my Pinoy food treats), I had to just do it. I just wish that one day soon, I’ll be able to source everything we need under one roof and hoping that there will be organic restaurants in the near future. When that happens, I’ll be the happiest organic loving gal in town.
