The past Saturday was a typical day for us. With all the things that’s going on, I was glad to have this day as typical as possible, just like what we’re used to before all the new developments surrounding us took place.
Leisurely day, it was, I must say, save for the traffic on the expressway which eased up after we traversed a few miles. After the 5 p.m. Mass, we headed to Ay! Caramba for dinner. It was perfect time to indulge in Mexican cuisine after months of not having it.
After dinner, we originally planned to go to Red Mango, but after we were done shopping at Trader Joe’s, our tummies were still full, so we proceeded home.
We’ve been enjoying a good break of the summer humidity and heat, and it’s been great. For as long as this keeps up, and the temps don’t change drastically to real cool temps (for me), this series (Saturday Jaunt) will continue. Otherwise, it will end sooner than I planned.
