I’m refusing to give in to many unhappy thoughts lately. What, with the current health condition of my Mom, instead of sulking in one corner, I’m using my free time to read these books.

I’m done reading the book on top of my three-book pile. If you get the chance and you’re interested, this book is a must-read. It details the inspiring story of how the author fought her battle with cancer through alternative methods (sans chemo therapy and radiation) in coordination with a regular medical practitioner.
I’m still reading the two books (as pictured) underneath. I’m actually under time pressure to finish up because whatever ideas I get out of these two books, will come in handy in a few weeks.

Hi Tuks!
I hope your Mom gets well soon. I know how hard it is to keep our minds off pag may nangyayari na malayo tayo…especially pag magulang. I can still remember how hard it was for me when I left my ailing Tatang to finish the last 2 months of the school year overseas. Buti na lang 2 months na lang and I was able to go home after and spend the last 2 months of his life with him.
Praying for your Mom….stay strong!

thanks so much. it is indeed hard but there’s nothing that I can do for now. I would have wanted to go home kaya lang ang daming commitment na dito and there’s a lot of things na ma-compromise if I do so.
Will pray for your mom’s speedy recovery J! That’s the best thing we can do on situations we have no control of. I’m also bothered by a close relative’s recent diagnosis of BC. I pray much for her though it’s nothing compared to my case. Nonetheless, I believe prayer works!
I hope I can find that book here in the local bookstores now. Will definitely buy one.
Relax and ingat lagi!

you’ll surely find the book at NBS. the author is Filipino and I learned about her through an article from a local daily.
