Dale Jr Is My Favorite

I have been a big fan of Nascar racing for many years. My husband and I started watching it when we were in college. I can remember several spectacular races, which involved unbelievable crashes and amazing finishes.

My favorite Nascar Car driver is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. I loved the bond between him and his father. It was amazing to sit down and turn on the channel that my cable tv offers to watch them race. The most memorable race in our minds was the 2001 Daytona 500 when both Dale Jr and his father were in contention for the win. Unfortunately, Dale Sr. never finished the race because of a head on crash into the wall that took his life. Dale Earnhardt, Jr came in second place in that race. He was forever endeared into my heart because of his amazing finish and the loss of his father on the same day. His career has been like a rollercoaster ride lately, and I will be happy to see him win a race again. You can tell he is a great person because his fans are not leaving him because he is not winning races or finishing in the top ten. I am sure his car issues will be fixed and he will get a great team around him eventually to complete for the top spot on the leaderboard.
