What is your favorite color?
We seem to have our own fave color. For me, I tend to gravitate towards green. Not that I always pick green colored clothing or accessories, but the vibrant green color looks refreshing to me.
My husband is a different story, altogether. He loves ORANGE. And his love for this color is infinite that he wants to wear orange all the time. Now, you can just imagine how his closet looks like if he shops for himself. Thank goodness I shop for him all the time. The rare instances when he is with me and I’m shopping for him, as long as the color orange is an option in a particular style, orange will be it.
Have you seen an orange bathroom? I don’t even want to visualize it. Believe me, he wanted to paint our bathroom orange. There was no way I was going to allow it to happen. A long discussion ensued after I expressed my disapproval. In the end, he gave in. Was he happy? No!
So why is he so in love with orange? To him, orange is mentally stimulating. He thinks it can evoke conversation and you can get noticed without screaming but attention is on you. I have to say, he looks good in orange. And he probably knows it too, so I should just let him wear orange all the time.
Naku…when I was teaching, we tried to minimize bright colors sa classroom kung hindi baka puno ng super hyper na bata sa klase. I have a friend who is also an orange lover. Me? Not so much…mas gusto ko earth colors…or pastel. Si E…anything red is: BEAUTIFUL…hahaha.
