It’s 4:00 p.m. and in as much as I wanted to head out to the spa I canceled my appointment. Why? It’s 18 degrees outside and I’m not in the mood to bundle up. Besides, I just got out of a nasty cold last week so I’m better off inside where it’s warm and toasty.
The man of the house is game (even with the frigid weather) for his bi-monthly body scrub and body massage, so he is currently enjoying his own spa time. I made the appointment three weeks ago, and although I also had mine booked I canceled it a week ago as soon as my sniffles had set in. Did I tell you that he is as vain as me? In fact, I can let you in on a secret (shhhhhh): he also uses the different creams, lotions and potions that I use. Now, that explains why he does not mind being sent to the store to buy them (lol).
I’m keeping myself busy in his absence…. by shopping online. I have already checked out a couple of shopping carts from two different sites. Now, it reminds me that I need to quit writing here so I can order the Valentine’s Day gift I’m eyeing at Edible Arrangements. It’s for my MIL, just so you know… not from me but from her only son. It’s an annual practice, as he’s used to giving a little something to her every heart’s day.

Happy weekend Tuks! Sayang naman at di ka nakapag spa but better safe than sorry…baka sipunin ka ulit. The spa will be there anyway when the weather gets a little better.
ay naku..how I wish it’s the curio that’s delivered the other day…hindi eh…just something I ordered online kasi I’m sending a balikbayan box. It’s been a while since the last one. M and I were just talking about the curio over dinner….I asked him if he heard from the guy lately…wala daw. I guess the money we paid him should be considered ‘donation’.
Inulan kami dito today so nakakulong na naman kami ni E sa bahay. Hopefully tomorrow eh maganda ang panahon para naman makalabas kami….

speaking of balikbayan boxes, sa totoo lang, never ko pang na try mag send ever since nandito ako. even my sisters hindi rin mahilig magpadala. hay naku, ang bait mo at you’re considering a payment as donation.
Sarap magpa-spa! Never mind if you can’t go now. It’s always there naman anytime you want. Buti pa ang iyong husbandah.. vain! I could only imagine how flawless his complexion is. Kaya pala he’s quick to buy, huh?!

Here in our place in northern CT, I woke up last Saturday with an outside temp of 2 degrees F. The high on that day was 18. Oh I love Edible Arrangements. When I got my citizenship a few years ago, my husband got me an Edible Arrangements gift with an American flag on it.
