I do all the shopping in our household with the exception of big ticket items where the decision of the ‘financier’ is needed. My financier happens to be my husband, who loathes shopping except when he shops for his gifts for me during the few occasions when he thinks I absolutely need a little surprise (that included my recent Christmas gift).
He had stopped giving me gifts without asking for what I want awhile back except for those surprises. That meant, I always had a first hand knowledge of what I was about to get, or better yet, I go shopping with him.
I’m aware about several friends who go to the extent of hiding their shopped items from their husbands. Mine is the exact opposite, and just because he knows I love to shop, whenever he notices that my shopping trip whether in-store or online is not as frequent, he wonders and ask me why and that he never fails to tell me that I should go shopping.
At the start of the new year, I was surprised to hear him make a request – and that is to order these:

He is one who does not ask for anything, not even to shop for his own clothing. I shop for him when I want and when I feel like it and he is just one happy user; no questions asked.
I ordered these from Vitamin Shoppe, and when I opened the box I couldn’t help but laugh. These whey protein containers are so huge, I didn’t realize that a 5 pound container was humongous. He makes shake before his workouts and these are absolutely yummy. Some days, I also make my own concoction by adding fruits and yogurt and it’s satisfying and delicious.
