Fresh-Cut Christmas Tree

Who says you can  avail of a fresh-cut Christmas tree only from a Nursery?

See? And yes, they even offer free delivery! You can see this on a sidewalk in  Chelsea,  New York City. The immediate periphery where the trees are set up smells really awesome. Nothing beats the wonderfully fresh pine smell.

I must admit that I miss decorating a tree. This is my ninth  Christmas tree-free holiday. As you may already surmise, because I’m married to a Jewish man, I have deliberately omitted decorating during the holidays.  If I don’t have my Christmas tree, my husband also doesn’t have his Menorah. Fair enough?

  • Hey Tuks! We’ve never had a real tree. Maybe one day pag malaki na si E.

I’ve been busy nga with work. Sayang kasi eh. Before I know it wala na ulit so I’m trying to do as much as I can.

Nabaon ba ang NY sa snow? Grabe sa news ang pinakikitang snow. I have a friend in VA. Sabi nya they’re holed up in the house because of the snow. Not fun daw kasi sobra na.

Hope you have a great week. Bakasyon ba ang Wall St pag Pasko?

  • That sounds fair to me. Not to mention the additional time on your hands not spent decorating, so it’s a WIN/WIN, right?

    @ Tuks

in our area, we only got about 6 inches. in my sister’s though, they got it bad, as the accumulation totaled to 16 inches. not fun talaga. if you ask me, I would welcome moving to a snow-less State. I hope it will happen sooner than later. mga wall street firms, they already have satellite offices in other states. since si F ay hindi naman sa trading floor, I would welcome if one day lumpat kami sa walang snow (kahit wishful thinking ako for now).

sure, bakasyon sila. pwede ba naman hindi eh di nag-protesta hahaha.

    @ Margaret

that is so right about the additional work/time associated with decorating. sometimes, I consider myself lucky on that department.
