Java Chip Frap, Please

It’s been freezing all day yesterday, but my trek to Long Island was inevitable. As soon as I hit the parkway, it didn’t take long and there was the traffic. It was a harrowing stop and go for two hours for what would have been a 20 minute drive sans congestion on the road.

Thus, before I headed back home, I wanted to ensure that I was not going to be thirsty. It was a toss between a smoothie or the sinful Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino.

This one won my heart:

With Cordie’s (our car) heat and the heated seat turned on, I felt cozy and warm inspite the cold drink while sitting in traffic. I had all the time to snap a picture. The only difference: I was home in 50 minutes.

  • Grabe sinful nga. I hate sitting in traffic…I used to get motion sickness and sitting in traffic usually made it worse…kahit walang motion…haha. At least you have that drink to keep you company.

Weekend her was pleasant…di umulan like the weather people said. I think we even hit 80s today.

    O siya…enjoy the rest your Sunday…

good for you at 80’s diyan. we will welcome that warm temp next year. grabe at ang haba pa ng ihihintay ko.

  • Two hours driving instead of 20 minutes is very normal here esp. along EDSA. Didn’t know that NY also suffers from such traffic congestion.

Buti pa kayo dyan, cold weather na. Kainggit naman!

oh yes, the traffic here in NY can be as bad as the traffic in Manila at certain times of the day. and this is just in the parkways. the big city traffic in Manhattan can be compared to that of the day to day gridlock back in PI.

hay naku, ewan lang kung magugustuhan mo ang cold weather. I’ll be glad to be there sa Pinas not having to worry about bundling up. Nakakapagod!
