Quick And Easy Saturday Night Dinner

Dinner with friends at a Thai restaurant in Queens has been planned  for quite sometime, and I was really looking forward to it. We had to beg off though, not only because of the nasty weather that enveloped the tri-state area yesterday but primarily because my husband is nursing a bad cold.

As soon as we decided to cancel the dinner and this was at about 10:00 a.m., I went back to sleep and it was no surprise that I was able to get comfy and drifted off to dream land again. I finally woke up at 2:00 p.m. while my husband practically slept all day.

I don’t cook during weekends, and with the canceled dinner, we had no provision for food. My freezer and pantry is filled with easy and ready to pop(microwave and oven) foods but I had my appetite set for Japanese food.

So, if the man of the house is unable to head out to  pick up food, I did the next best thing: my fingers did the walking. Two containers of these, was our dinner. It can’t get any better. Yum!

  • Hopefully F is feeling better na. Panahon talaga ng sipon ngayon because of the weather.

Dito malamig since yesterday. We finally put up our little Christmas tree. E is of course ecstatic. She has to turn it on and off herself so pag tutulog na sya…wala na kaming kumukuti kutitap na tree…haha…

    Have a good week ahead.

  • TUKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isa kang anghel galing New York! I’ve been having the problem since 2 or 3 days ago. Maraming salamat sa tip…I took off the paying post script and now it’s ok na. Yay! Salamat. I actually started trial and error removing the widgets one at a time [remember the pop-ups before na porno?? haha]kahapon kaso sa sobrang kabisihan ko di ko maasikaso. I had to stop it from loading [di uso ang no script sa navigator] for me to view it.

Maraming salamat talaga….appreciate it. One less thing to worry about this weekend.

    Enjoy your weekend!
