Lucky Once, Can It Be Twice?

Call me lucky, and I’m so happy that I won’t have to wait for next year after all to see my Gyno. On my previous post, I wrote about canceling my appointment because of the inclement weather that we experienced last week. Right in the middle of the afternoon today, I got a call from the doctor’s office letting me know that a slot opened up and I can take it if I’m free.

I grabbed the chance. Therefore, no matter how I dislike going for my annual check-up I have to go and comply for the sake of complying.

Weekend is almost here, and I’m looking forward to a non-cooking week once again next week. The man of the house is off for a week, thus, I’m off too. Fair enough, right?

I don’t even want to get started and think of possible shopping trips, even with a lot of free time, because I have a man that is just so un-cooperative when shopping is concerned. Yes, I can go ahead and browse, and or shop in the mall for as long as I want, just don’t count him to be around. And yes,  he is always as happy to see everything that’s inside my shopping bags. I’m really lucky that way, as he tolerates this shopping girl. He is fully aware that I know my limits, that’s why. The thing is, I want a driver too (and that would be him).

I’m lucky that I got an open slot and not wait for next year, will luck smile at me one more time and have a driver too who happens to be my ‘Santa Claus’ a.k.a financier also?
