We’re not yet seeing the end of this recession, not just yet, as far as we are concerned here in this corner of the world. Everyday, we hear tons of people filing for unemployment and different establishments declaring bankruptcy. Needless to say, we are facing the biggest economic challenge since the great depression.
Don’t we all wish this tough time to be over soon? If only I had a magic wand so I can remedy this situation and put an end to it. But such is such, and we have to go on and continue living while facing all the challenges. Despite this crisis, we still need to mobilize ourselves to get to where we want to. Our need for a vehicle will always be there. At this time, a second hand car is perhaps the best option. It is definitely more practical.
I’ve heard about an online car mega store where an extensive array of used cars are in stock. It is a UK based online portal. I wished we have one like this here in the US. The Car Shop Megastore according from a friend based in Bristol, is the leading used car megastore in the UK. She should know, that is where she sourced her own car.
I’ve been lucky enough in my entire life to have driven brand new cars all the time. Of course, my first ever car was from my parents, and it was brand new. The many brand new cars I have driven after that were all gratis: free. How and where do you get free brand new vehicles? Perks! Yes, they were perks through work. After four years of using them, I then have the option to acquire the said vehicle for a very minimal cost if I want. If I was not interested, I return it back to the company. Whatever option I took, I will still get a brand new car every four years. Thus, at any given point in time all throughout my employment when I was still in the corporate world, I had at least two cars, and sold the other units that I acquired.
From my own personal experience, selling a used car was always easy. For as long as you’re selling a reliable brand, and the price is right, buyers are drawn to it. Thus, I understand why there will always be a huge market for used cars – recession or not.

That’s a good idea Jul. Or you may still go around but leave your credit cards and just bring some cash.

In my country the “crisis” as we call the recession has hit later, but it’s been with devastating results. We’ll have a 25% increase in poverty this year and we’ve already been pretty poor. I am lucky to have bought myself a car last year (leasing) and now I am paying the rates. 1 yeas passed, 3 more to come. As long as I keep my job and my online projects, I hope to survive
@ Liza
you are so right, cash is better these days para we’re not tempted to go overboard and over spend.
@ Dojo Art
good for you that you have secured your car. Good luck!
