Four days ago, I prepared the containers for my container garden. I was finally able to sow the seeds last Saturday, so now the waiting game begins. To me, it’s gratifying to see a plant sprout from the soil.
If you remember, I have written previously about being unsure if I will plant this season. Because of a busy summer ahead of us, I didn’t want to sow seeds and later on neglect the plants. As a compromise, I decided to plant just herbs this season, instead of a mixture of herbs and vegetables. I have parsley, cilantro, basil, oregano and chives.
The temperature dipped to the lower 40′s last night. I hope this won’t do any damage. I’m looking forward to a more stable warmer weather ahead. Memorial Day is just around the corner. I can’t wait to just head out of the house without having to grab a jacket.

Magandang umaga…este madaling araw pala. It’s 4:44 AM. Ang batang makulit ay nagising na gutom so ako ay ginising…hay. Di kasi kumain kagabi kasi masakit daw ulo. Ang nanay nga naman noh?
Anyway, kakainggit ka naman kasi nakapagtanim ka na. Kami may lupa ngang pagtataniman, di naman makapagtanim kasi yung mga frens ko na mukhang daga at mukhang pagong eh hinuhukay lahat dito. Hopefully, next month mawala na sila.
O siya….tutulog na ulit kami…siguro.

we have another frost advisory ulit tonight. I hope hindi ma-dead tong mga ito.
In my previous residence, I planted seeds, the plants were so lush it became a forest, uhrm … jungle. Now that we moved to a new place, I’m trying to get things together again so we can grow stuff. The herbs are a good idea! If only I can figure out how to evolve into a green thumb…
