Metals Matter

After battling some kind of infection on my wisdom tooth, here I am now down with a cold. In fact, it’s been two nights in a row that my kitchen has been idle, I’m so not in the mood to cook. Our dinners have been dutifully brought in by my husband. Which means, because there is little to no clean up after dinner, we have been spending more time on the dinner table talking about mundane to crazy, out of this world topics.

Imagine how my husband reacted when out of the blue I asked him how our environment would look like without a steady supply of expanded metal sheet . He didn’t see that kind of question coming from someone like me who is just into crafts, cooking, baking, home interiors and the like. But, in hindsight, all of the above interests that I mentioned, there’s actually metal involved, so there should be no shocker there, right?

The truth of the matter is that, because I have been practically idle lately, a site about perforated metal caught my attention while I was browsing online. AccuratePerforating.com’s website is very informative, it took me a good half an hour browsing through their pages. It was amazing to learn how a simple perforated metal can be designed and produced according to desired specs, whatever pattern that may be. That basic metal sheet and coil can practically become a functional piece that is also decorative. And it can be for your home, agricultural equipments and  medicine among others.
