A family friend who lives in Fresh Meadows here in New York is due to give birth in May. At her recent baby shower given to her by her best friend, Emily, everyone had a great time. It was nice seeing familiar faces once again after a few months. Although, we went through the usual traffic as anyone would expect in New York, as soon as we got there, that uneasy feeling waned away. It felt great to be around the company of great friends and good food.
Everyone that mattered to C was there, and she and her husband couldn’t ask for more. Even if all of us went with the usual baby shower presents, we also felt that it will be a great surprise present if we chip in and purchase the one big gift that matters the most: the gift of life from Cryo-cell. How did we know about this? Of course, I introduced the idea to the rest of the guests discreetly. After all, I have written about this several times already and I really believe in the wonders of stem cell preservation for potential cure of life threatening diseases. This will give C the opportunity to bank her newborn’s cord blood with the end in mind of having potential benefits for life.
I was so glad to have gotten a positive response from friends and family. With the great pricing that Cryo -Cell is offering in the face of our tough economy, no one was hesitant to contribute towards this gift. Cryo-Cell offers different financing options and we know we can easily get this gift for her. I really need to enroll now in her behalf to get the ball rolling. After all, there is no enrollment fee and there are no charges until the specimen is made available and processed and since she is delivering her baby in May, the charges won’t be posted till then. Oh, and we can’t keep this as a surprise any longer, as I would want her to avail of the limited time offer wherein she gets her free belly bag. May is not that far off, in fact, her due date is within the first week of May.
