Valentine’s Day has come and gone, and all I have is a bouquet of white roses.
Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. It’s just that we were stuck in the house because of my pesky cold and fever. Valentine’s dinner was soup and salad from my favorite organic restaurant in Chelsea, Manhattan. Yes, my husband went all the way to Manhattan on Saturday so he can get my favorite organic soup.
I’m feeling a lot better now (it better be, otherwise I’ll be stuck again tomorrow: my birthday). Good thing, my birthday is also a holiday as it is President’s Day tomorrow commemorating the birthday of Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Wall Street is closed thus, the man of the house is also home. No, we have no concrete plans, we will have to play it by ear depending on how I feel when the morning comes.
