It’s been a long night, but it was fun. We celebrated Christmas eve at my sister’s home on Long Island and we were not home till 2:45 in the morning Christmas day.
As expected, I was useless for the first half of the day, as I didn’t rise till after 12:00 p.m. I was very tired but it was a good kind of tired. Hey, this celebration comes only once a year.
With my sister’s family, six friends joined us. The celebration started with catered buffet dinner. This time, my sister didn’t bother to cook. She’s one working mom, what can I say. Into the night, there was dancing (my brother in law, by the way, can really dance, he must have been a dancer in his previous life) and singing and of course, at the strike of midnight, everyone congregated by the tree as Santa started to give away presents. Yeah, everyone in attendance were all adults, no one believes in Santa anymore LOL.
