Trek To 5th Ave.

The cold temperature here in New York didn’t stop  me from heading to Manhattan yesterday. I had to finally get going and pick up the items that have already been waiting for me to get. First stop was at the Louis Vuitton Maison on 5th Ave. The exterior is indeed wrapped up with the vinyl display of Takashi Murakami’s contemporary Monogram Multicolor pattern. It looks so festive and as usual it was steaming with shoppers. Here’s a peek into the display.

I’m so ecstatic that I got what I wanted. No, the item is not for me, it’s for someone else( I can’t post pics here because friends and family as I said previously, are snooping around LOL), but one thing’s for sure, I made a big dent on my husband’s pocket at the adjacent Chanel boutique. I wanted to be a good girl but it’s Christmas and it only comes once a year. Needless to say, I seized the moment while in the store (wink). I then headed to several more stops which I’ll be writing about later on. It was a long day but I felt good even if I had to brave the strong ocean wind by our place as soon as I got off the train. I was very tired that I almost forgot to check the 800 number I needed to verify.

Ah… Christmas, it really does make you splurge and dig deep in your pocketbook.
