Relocation Anxiety
A family friend is experiencing a lot of anxiety lately. This is brought about by an impending relocation. If I were her, I would feel the same way, because relocating from Seattle to Washington D.C. is not going to be easy like a walk in the park.
But no, the moving itself is not even her biggest issue, as the firm where her husband works for will pay for the entire relocation expenses. Crazy as it may sound, she’s concerned about the fact that they will have to start searching for new physicians once again and that is including the tedious search for Washington DC dentist. I myself is very particular with my Dentist and OB-Gyne. I can replace any of my Doctors anytime, but not those two.
Well, there’s a lot of things to consider when relocating. It’s not the easiest and most welcoming activity, but as they say, the only permanent thing in this world is change. And yes, change can be good.

I can understand her anxiety. My hubby wants to move back to Bakersfield, CA. I HATE it there! Plus, I have chronic illnesses and finding a doctor with the right insurance is HARD to do when you take pain meds and such. I feel for her…

@ Pamela
I have been to Bakersfield twice. Surprisingly, I liked it there because it seem to be very peaceful, but my husband and I won\’t consider living there though. we like the diversity here in NY.
My best friend lives there and she\’s actually pushing us to get a vacation place there.
