A Milestone
This baby hit the first 10,000 miles yesterday.
We aptly called her Cordie ever since we purchased it in September 2003, a fully loaded 2004 Honda Accord V6 . It has been treated like a baby, just like any car that have passed through my hands, through all my years of driving dating back since I was 18. Oh yes, I take care of her, the man of the house simply has no time for her. He is busy analyzing what is going on in Wall Street LOL.
The odometer hitting 10,000 is a milestone that we have been waiting for. Cordie turned 5 last September, and as you must know, this car is barely used. My regular errands are within the 3 mile radius and my husband don’t drive to work thus, the low mileage. Cordie only gets her exercise when we hit the road to Long Island which is not even that often. And yes, long driving is not something we love to do. We fly, and that is the reason why Cordie has been a sitting duck. By the way, she is not for sale, she’s a keeper… until she is ready to be donated to charity LOL.

Ours on the other hand is battered because the husband uses it for everything. He even drove to Georgia one time to visit a client. Wawa naman yung amin.
Anyway, nagulat ako kasi aga mo nga today. Di ba malamig dyan? Kasi lalabas kayo eh. Ako nga tinatamad to do what I want to do - shop for winter [este fall pa lang] gears. Maybe later in the day.

she is babied and pampered like my baby. bawal magkalat sa loob, bawal kumain pati haha. oo nga, sobrang lamig but there are social obligations to attend to. kailangan lumabas and brave this brutal weather.
