I have always loved long, manicured fingernails, or should I say, long “painted” fingernails. When I moved here to the US, got married and started my “career” as a stay at home wife, because of household chores that I was not used to doing then, my long fingernails became more of a cause of discomfort. What, with all the house chores, I was always thinking of the polish getting ruined and the nails breaking.
Now, I no longer long for those long polished nails, but once in a while I still grow them to the extent that my husband finds them like a “threat” to him for fear of getting scratched LOL. He actually refers to them as “claws.”
This morning, while having breakfast, he suddenly blurted it out that I should get those claws trimmed, so off I did. See? This is how they look most of the time. Do they look like claws still?

Naku baligtad ang aking mister. He likes my nails long…I don’t. I only tried growing them and having them painted to spite an ex….hahaha
I was teaching Gr 1 part time then and one of my cutest students called my nails, yes, claws. So I cut them kasi I didn’t want anyway…
Pudpud talaga ang nails ko but now medyo may konting natitira….like you said, abala lang sya sa ating ‘career’ today…
How’s your weekend!
