My culinary skills is being tested nowadays. Why? Because I have been trying to plan our meals based on two different diets. I’m on a self imposed “diet” that’s why, while my husband gets the usual dishes that he is used to everyday. It’s not easy, I tell you, but I have been trying to do it and see where this dieting will take me. As the holidays are drawing near, I don’t know how I will be able to control and say no to all the delicious dishes. Just by looking at my collection of Christmas dinner recipes, I doubt very well if I will be able to keep up, as most of the ingredients are not that diet friendly. This early, I’m looking into recipes that I plan to bring to a pot luck dinner with friends a couple of days before Christmas.
I’m sure I’m not the only one with this dilemma. I just hope that I’ll shed off the extra pounds that I gained and go back to my usual weight by the first week of December or sooner. Then, if it happens it will be a totally different ball game.
