An Afternoon In The Lagoon Island Of Murano
Murano glass chandelier, anyone? We had the chance to tour a factory of one of Murano island’s glass makers in the island of Murano, and it was a delightful experience seeing the Master Artisan shape a horse right before our very eyes. Nowadays, Murano remains the chief expedition from Venice. It may not be as beautiful as the other islands but it is a very significant island.
In the showroom, we saw fine assortment of Venetian crystal beads in every hue as well as tons of dazzling Murano chandeliers and heavily ornamented glasses so ruby red or so indigo blue that you can’t tell whether it’s blackberry juice or pure-grain alcohol right before your very eyes.

wow, must be magical to watch this type of craft unfold before your eyes. it’s such a tedious process, but the final product is always beautiful.

Those splendid glass and crystals are one of the best in the world. Top notch. Aaaahhh to covet such material possessions. Mea culpa:-)
