Lemon Please…
I have been frustrated for the past week because I can’t get my favorite lemon ring cake from the nearby Italian bakeshop. As of yesterday when I called to check, the bakery is still closed as no one was picking up the phone. So, what’s the next best substitute? My dear husband was patient enough to pick this up from one of the bakeries in Soho and brought this home:
This is yummy and I can honestly say, it satisfied my craving for lemon. I won’t mind having this again. That is, if DH will be kind enough to take a detour every Friday before he heads home.
