An Early Start

What an unusual day! I’m up early on a Sunday morning, and I didn’t have to drag myself out of the bed. That means, I had a good night sleep. Not that I went to bed very early, but I had enough sleep. I labored all night ironing a mound of clothes, a chore I’ve been meaning to accomplish but never had the chance to do so. It feels good that I have done it finally.

What are we up to today? Not much, in fact I should say nothing. My husband just left to go and get his favorite freshly baked Georgian flat bread. That is his routine on Sunday mornings. He used to also go on Saturdays but I told him to cut back to once  a week. That bread can’t  be too healthy, as it is loaded with cheese. The rest of the day will be spent here at home and the gym for him. I have a lot of catching up to do, that is, reading the newspapers. My “little mountain” is starting to build up again.

I better get going and tackle some tasks.
