As early as when I was a teenager, I already knew the importance of life insurance. This is due in part to the fact that my parents talked about it with us, and at the same time, I had a life insurance that they took out for me since I was a toddler. That insurance has since been transferred to me. Because of that orientation, I also went ahead and took out another policy when I was already able to pay the premium on my own.
