Pick Your Web Host Intelligently

Filed under: blogging — juliana @ 12:18 pm

Let me tell you, what a stumble worthy site, I just stumbled upon today. It’s amazing that I came across a site about web hosting, after my harrowing ordeal yesterday (my entry on this below) when my sites went down for four hours. As it is, the articles are very enlightening and it really got me into thinking about what my next move will be regarding my current web host. If you can not rely on your web host to have you online 24/7, 365 days a year, it just doesn’t make sense.

Cheap web hosting is not always a mediocre choice, as there are reliable web host out there that are also affordable. You just have to do your homework before taking the plunge. In as much as reliability is important, getting testimonials from actual customers would be a good idea. On top of that, a round the clock customer support and the capability of your choice of webhost to grow with you should also be considered.

Whatever you decide on, you should check out web hosting ratings as well as tutorials and articles about web hosting before you pick your web host, so you can make an informed decision. Because once you’re tied up just like me(two years), you really can’t do much but wait, unless you are willing to pull out and spend more to have peace of mind and security.

lesson learned in this post: you really have to think well before getting yourself into a commitment with a service. you can’t simply get out when you are no longer satisfied with the service ‘coz you’ll end up paying more.
