I’m Jealous

My friend Elsie, called me last night to inform me they are set to go to Oregon in August. I was surprised to hear this, because I know they were planning to head out to Napa Valley but it turned out they changed their minds. Guess what, I’m so jealous because they are not going to Oregon just for sightseeing. They are going to a ski camp in Mount Hood. How cool is that! I can just imagine Mount Hood’s majestic snow covered peak.
You see, Elsie’s husband is an avid fan of snowboarding and skiing ever since he was a child. My friend does not really do any of the two, but she delights in accompanying her husband and see him enjoy. They went to Lake Tahoe last year, and they surely had some fun. She informed me in advance so that we can join them, but there is absolutely no way this will fit in to our already planned incoming getaway. Frank has only 3 1/2 weeks of vacation left.
They have more than enough time to prepare for this trip. In fact, Elsie told me she needs to get her husband an addition to his already numerous Burton snowboards. He already has several freeride and freestyle Burton snowboards but he wants to get something new. I’m sure she’ll find what he wants, as Store.ChristySports.com, carries a wide array of snowboard and ski gears. Now, if only we can go with them, my summer will be complete.

I heard from my friend that Oregon is a beautiful state. I’ve been to Lake Tahoe, CA and NV and the view there is spectacular. I believe you can visit these places one of these days. Di bale, well traveled ka naman. No need to get jealous.

yeah…you may want to include Oregon for an adventure in the future. i’m sure F will enjoy climb up at the Mount Hood, sayang naman pagiging gym enthusiasts nya…hehehe.
