When Will I Visit Vietnam?

There is one country in South East Asia that my husband and I would really love to visit one day. That is none other than Vietnam. Whenever we travel, we always make sure to visit the big city; in this case, it will be Ho Chi Minh, formerly known as Saigon, the biggest city in Vietnam. This place is full of history as it is known to be formerly a small fishing village. The area that the city is now in, was originally a swampland and was occupied by Khmer people for centuries before the Vietnamese arrived. It is actually noted in Khmer folklore, that Southern Vietnam was given to the Vietnamese government as a dowry for the marriage of a Vietnamese princess to a Khmer prince in order to stop constant invasions and pillaging of Khmer villages.

Ho Chi Minh City hotels, I understand are aplenty as listed on HoChiMinhCityhotels.info. But, as you very well know my dear husband is a little picky with accommodations, or maybe I should just say the truth: we are both very picky, as we normally stay at hotels that is as comfortable as what we have at home, or even more comfortable than what we have. Staying at a place that’s less comfy than our own home is a big no-no. The Windsor Plaza Hotel is the place that I would highly consider. It’s perfect location for both business and leisure will allow for ease and mobility while we’re there and I assume it will be close by the central business district of the city.

  • I haven’t read much about Vietnman’s tourism but I usually see it when I watch Amazing Race. It looks like a nice country to check out…
II associate it with rice fields and lotus feet nga lang because of a book that I once read na setting is in Vietnam :)

  • When you share with us your travel experience in Vietnam in the future, para na rin namin na explore yon just like you did in Puerto Rico.
