Pride Of Maui

I have visited Hawaii twice in 1995 and 1997 respectively. I was still single then, and I had a lot of fun in the company of family and friends. My 30 days each on both visits went so fast and although, I was dead tired at the end of the visit, it was fulfilling and relaxing to say the least.

Next year, my husband and I plan to visit Hawaii, as he has not been there yet. The operative word here is plan, as nothing is set in stone yet. Although, it will be great if it pushes through as my nephew, the son of my sister is graduating from high school and a good candidate for Valedictorian of the class. Going to Hawaii is like going to paradise. This is a statement from someone who’s been in the island for a good one month each of the two visits. I’ve been to the Big Island, Hilo, Kona, all of Oahu and Maui. All of these islands are a beauty in their own right. I can vividly remember the pristine white sand beaches of Maui and the fact that they are not crowded make it a lot more serene. That’s why Maui Dinner Cruises is such a great idea should you visit. In fact, if and when we go next year, this will be a great chance for my husband to check out and get on a mini cruise. As I mentioned on my previous travel posts, he has an expressed aversion to cruises. Those that sail for weeks on end. The Maui dinner cruise will be great as it sails for two hours, just enough to experience the splendid sunset in the company of live music by legendary guitar master, Joe Cano. And with delicious food and a premium bar, the husband will surely be contented.

The panoramic views of Maui is a sight to behold, I should know that, I’ve been there. It’s really breathtaking, and while on the Maui sunset dinner cruise those unobstructed views will surely make for a great photo opportunity. I can just imagine relaxing for a few hours in the large upper deck of the Impeccable Pride of Maui feeling the Hawaiian breeze while taking in a view that you’ve never seen anywhere else.

This should be one magical evening. With a promise of delicious menu and a full stocked open bar, the husband will be one happy camper while enjoying a serene early evening cruise. Just imagining the twinkling lights of Lahaina and Kihei and the view of Haleakala while it disappears into the clouds will be such an experience. Add to that, watching the sun’s great ball of fire sink slowly into the horizon. With the well maintained Pride of Maui, it is no question the most beautiful boat that one can be on, to sail the peaceful waters of Maui.
