It’s almost prom time once again. You bet, my sister has already started “plotting” for my nephew’s big night. This year though, she’s a bit tamer, because she’s sending her son; unlike last year when it was my wanna-be model niece’s turn. It was a totally different ballgame as preparing a teen daughter is much more complicated than a teen son. What, with the prom dress, the hair and make-up and what not. But believe it or not, my sister is concerned about her son’s date – that she(his date) better be dressed well and all that kind of stuff. What a stage mother, right? It’s a crazy thing, but she already went to the extent of talking to the mother of my nephew’s date that my sister will pay for all the expenses and that includes her share of the New York limousine service fee so that the mother and daughter can concentrate on getting the best prom dress. Yes, that’s how insane she is a mother!
I heard that the kids will be going around New York city and an undisclosed “bar” after the prom and they have opted to ride in style on the H2 Hummer Limousine. My sister and the rest of the moms have already agreed and the kids are delighted and excited. Star City Limousine service is known for reliability and professional and competitive prices, so these kids are really guaranteed of a wonderful night and definitely a prom to remember.

I also blogged about this site a few months ago. I haven’t rode in a limousine yet and I bet it would be a good experience riding one especially going around NY.
one word… sosyalan!!! she’d really do that for the prom? kakaiba sister mo manang
@ Mari
yes she did for elise, and she’ll do it again for ted, the younger child. cool mom nga siya. minsan ang sarap batukan haha.
when it’s my kids time to attend a prom night, feeling ko magiging stage mother din ako like your sister most especially to my daughter. i’m gonna make sure it’s gonna be an event my kids will never forget in their entire life.
on the other hand, her kids are really blessed to have a mom like her. she makes it a point that the special occasions on her children’s lives is something worth remembering. i just hope that she doesn’t make it ‘over’ for her kids… by that time, batukan mo na talaga sya :p
