Tonight is the first night of Passover, simply known as Passover Seder. Passover is a Jewish holy day and festival commemorating the Exodus from Egypt and the liberation of the Israelites from slavery. It is also known as Festival of the Unleavened Bread and a time of renewal and rebirth. As many of you may know, Frank grew up practicing the Jewish religion. It is apparent though, that he is now a non-practicing Jew. In fact, I refer to him as a “rebel Jew”.
Jewish families observe the first night and get together for Seder, a symbolic dinner where the story of the Passover is told. As you maybe guessing by now, there is no way Frank would have been to any Seder. My mother in law has already “resigned” from making any celebratory dinner. So tonight, the husband and I feasted on a “Caribbean dinner”, a prelude to what we will be feasting on next week.

how i wish i can attend one of these celebrations. i think it would be a wonderful experience.

I read about the Passover in the Bible in the Old and New Testament. Jesus and His disciples ate unleavened bread during the Passover before He was arrested and crucified.
People have different ways to praise and remember Jesus. We may have different religion but RESPECT is the keyword to avoid arguments and misunderstanding.

they indeed are. although, the only big difference really is the practice of the Jewish religion. basically, they have the same GOD that they believe in like us, Christians.
I can remember Passover from elementary religion. i wish i can attend one too… and taste the unleavened bread that they prepare.
