With my day tied up with laundry, I couldn’t believe it was about 3:00 p.m. when I was done folding. I really planned to run to the bank today, as I know the weather has cooperated, at least for today. Too bad, the bank closes at 3:00 and there was no way I could make it there in time. The only good thing is, today is Thursday and the bank nearby has their extended banking hours (two windows open, and not full banking service) till 7:00 p.m.
So, off I head out. It was gorgeous out, with the temperature right around 70 degrees, it was still kind of cool because of the ocean breeze and certainly not a day yet for flip flops and spaghetti strap tops. Thank God, there was no line, so I was taken in immediately. My smile was changed to a little pout when I was informed, I can’t withdraw the amount in full because I’m withdrawing an amount that’s over the limit they dispense by the window. The teller however, quickly followed up her statement by saying: “I can make an exception as you are a loyal patron here”.
I couldn’t thank her enough, because she saved me from having to go back again tomorrow. She really made my day. I was totally ignorant about that rule of the bank. Besides, I never had to withdraw this much beyond normalĀ full service banking hours. Remember the sponsorship at De La Salle University for an incoming freshman? Yes, our responsibility has begun. I withdrew the money which covers the full tuition of the kid for the whole semester; and I will wire it tomorrow. It will have to be this way three times a year, for the next five years, as they offer trimester classes in this university.

bless you with your generosity. the kid must be very happy to get the scholarship from you.

it’s good there are people like you who’s willing to help others and become a channel of blessing. keep it up.
@ Hailey
it’s a big responsibility but we’re glad to do it.
@ Lisa
we believe in the fact that the more we share, the more blessings will come. it’s a huge responsibility but as Frank says, we’ll just have to treat it like we’re paying for an entry level luxury car.
Blessings on you and Frank for doing such a good deed!

It really pays to be loyal patrons doesn’t it? Besides, God knows that you’re putting the money to good use!

You were given an exception and your being a loyal customer was valued at the time you withdraw your money because you will use it for a good purpose.
God bless you more so you continue to be a blessing to others.
there are a lot of angels without wings here on earth… the teller was your angel, just as you and F are the angels of the incoming freshman student that you are sponsoring… more blessings are on your way, that’s for sure!
