A Colorful Prospect

My husband and I are not anywhere close to retirement age, but somehow, when we are in a playful mood we talk about our golden years. Frank, having been born and raised in New York, loves New York a lot. The diversity of cultures and the unique environment in New York city is something that you don’t see anywhere else in the United States. Both of us pretty much travel extensively, and we have seen and visited a great number of States across the US. Yet, never in our mind do we consider moving anywhere else. Why? Well, because there’s only one Wall Street in the US. I’m not talking about the street itself, I mean, my husband being an Analyst in one of the investment houses, is based in New York.

Investing and or looking for a nice retirement place though, is a totally different story. We both agree, it would be ideal if right now, we look into places that we love, maybe buy a future retirement property and consider moving into when the time comes. North Carolina has been a mutual choice, especially the homes listed at New Bern NC Real Estate. With the mild four season climate and lower cost of living, Carolina Colours is such a lovely prospect. I wouldn’t mind a coastal life right in eastern North Carolina. Meantime, I have to keep dreaming and hoping it will come true.

  • G & I though that if ever we reach the retirement age, we can live anywhere as long as we are together :) *mushy w blush*
but I think it will be somewhere that we both love (just like you)… if we still have our house in Sta. Rosa (this is the house that we are saving for right now)

  • hubby and I haven’t discuss retirement yet because we are busy thinking & conceptualizing in building our own house, not to mention, the future of our kids.
