Home Makeover Mode Continues
It’s no secret that I’m inclined to decorating, and I love doing it. In fact, as I have previously written before, I have been considering taking interior design courses at NYIT. And these days, I think my mind is really geared towards makeover mode. As previously written a few days ago, I have been seriously thinking of a living room makeover. I’m not referring to any kind of serious demolition, but only a total change in the components of what’s there like furniture, accessories etc. Painting is not even welcomed, I’m okay with the colors of our wall.
With this in mind, I have been looking into grandfather clocks like this one:
I like the lines and traditional style of this Howard Miller Hayes grandfather clock . I have never owned one before, but just by looking into it, I’m quite sure that it will add texture to our living room, as I believe grandfather clocks not only serve as an accessory, they are also considered as furniture. It will for sure serve as an anchor to the room and add elegance and charm to the whole space. I imagine the nice music too. I will have to get used to the every hour on the hour chime which is a welcoming sound especially in our home where silence reigns, as you know, I’m all alone everyday till my husband comes home from work.
Having written all these, I think I know exactly where to source out my grandfather clock. At 1-800-4clocks.com. I will start my search on the net, but I can check it out and see for myself. You know why? The store is not only on the internet, it is also located at the Grand Central Station here, where I live, in New York. And the web address is also the store name. The thought of being able to see it personally is exciting. I just hope I won’t be drowned in the store, as I know they have a wide array of grandfather clocks in every style imaginable. Not to forget that they too have all the famous brands at real competitive prices.

I remember when I was little when I go on sleepovers at my grandparents house, I’m scared going down the stairs because of the grandfather clock, hehehe! It’s silly when I think about it now but before I used to associate that clock with horror movies

I so love the wall clock in the house of my aunt, at exactly 7 pm, the theme song from the titanic movie “My Heart Will Go On” would play. It’s one gift I would like to ask from hubby.
