This is how our living room looks like since yesterday. Do you notice the pile of newspapers?
Here’s a closer look:

I purposely moved these newspapers here, so I get reminded that there’s a pile waiting for me to read. They’re more visible here than anywhere else in the house. It’s probably three weeks worth of newspapers. It’s been an ongoing battle between me and F, because he thinks it’s useless that I’m saving them, because I won’t get to read them anyway. I argue, that I will get to them. I’m not interested with the headlines, I’m after the Lifestyle and Entertainment section and the weekend magazines and inserts. He simply can’t comprehend, why anyone will take the time to read something as stale as three weeks ago. So, when he was home early yesterday, he managed to snap a photo of me, while gazing at these pile of “garbage” as he says.

Even with those files of newspaper, your living room still looks nice and neat, sis.
You’ll be able to read those in time, i’m sure.
I very rarely read newspapers and hubby prefers getting the news through the TV so we have seized subscribing to newspapers
Besides, it lessened the garbage we have to worry about.

Whenever I read local newspapers online like Philstar, I always start with the entertainment section. I was even thnking that I was an entertainment writer in my past life…lol

I used to get heaps of papers and they’d pile up, but haven’t read many papers for at least a couple of years now … get my news off the internet and radio mainly. (and no, I wouldn’t bother reading them).

Hahaha…and why were you gazing at the papers??? hahaha….I used to do that. I had pile after pile of newpapers. It came to a point na I had to toss some kasi di ko na talaga mabasa.
So when are you planning in reading them? hehe

your living room is so beautiful. i just throw away newspapers after a couple of days, read or unread.
I like reading the newspaper from cover to cover, all sections except the sports page. Just don’t like to read about sports.

The hubby on the other hand, reads only the international news and local news sections. He does not read any other section. So I get the comics, crosswords, and sudoku section to myself.

kasi, I ran out of words to fight the battle. gusto kasi ni F itapon na. I feel like there’s a lot of things I’ll miss if I give up on them. sira ba ako?
i will definitely read newspapers no matter how old they are na, especially if i don’t have anything to do
i read papers cover to cover too… even obituaries because there might be someone there na kilala ko na namatay na pala
kahit ano yata i read, kahit balot pa ng tinapa yan basta interested ako
my, that’s a lot
hubby is the one who toss papers right away after reading.
