The Red Rose

Filed under: tags — juliana @ 11:55 pm

A rose is a flowering shrub of the genus Rosa. It’s the classic expression of love because a rose flower pours forth your innermost feelings to your beloved in the most beautiful way. So give a rose to your loved ones and friends and make anyone’s heart bloom with joy!

I got this rose from Lisa. What a nice way to end my day. Thanks so much for thinking of me. I am passing this on to Suzanne, Lynn, Bless and Jesse. Please continue to pass on the love.

Life Insurance: A Must

Filed under: priceless treats — juliana @ 11:44 pm

Life insurance to me has always been considered as a need and a must.  It’s good my husband and I agree on this one hundred percent. So, what do you expect upon hearing this? This couple(us) have taken insurances to the extreme as what many of our friends and family say, because we have practically everything insured and that is including jewelries.

We both are covered with whole life and term life insurance policies. This early, although my husband’s term life policy is not yet due, I’m checking out quotes so we have a clear idea of how much it will cost us in a few years. It was so easy to check out instant life insurance quotes at LifeInsure.com. Filling out the form was a breeze and I was brought into a page of insurance companies and the corresponding price quotes.

At LifeInsure.com, you can plan ahead and read up on the type of life insurance that best suit you. All the necessary information that one needs to know about life insurance can be found here to make an informed decision so that you and your loved ones get the protection you need.

Boring Day

Filed under: musings — juliana @ 11:22 pm

As a result of  turning in late last night, I also woke up late today. And that’s the reason why I haven’t blog all day because I was busy cleaning. I originally intended to take off from doing any chores this week, as the husband is off from work but cleaning is something that I can’t skip.

One good thing is that at least I had help. Vacuuming for me is not the easiest part of cleaning, as pushing the vacuum in itself is too much. Not that I have a very expansive space to clean, but the chore is taking a lot out of me. Don’t get me wrong, I love cleaning. It’s just that, after a week on vacation it was hard to start and get back on doing house chores.

The Surprise

Filed under: travel — juliana @ 1:40 am

After breaking my husband’s bank account one afternoon at Condado, Isla Verde (see previous post here), he pulled a surprise for me on our last night in Puerto Rico. I spotted this aqua bag (a Tiffany shopping bag) sitting on my night table, when I walked out of the bathroom into the bed area after taking a shower.

This was what’s inside:

I not only get to see a new place, I always shop till I want to stop and get a surprise gift when we go on vacation. Sometimes I feel guilty, but as my husband always says: “I deserve it”. Isn’t he sweet? He’s always been like this; indulgent of my whims and excesses, if you may say so.

Hypertropin In Focus

Filed under: health — juliana @ 1:33 am

Human Growth Hormone has been in the spotlight lately here in the US. This is largely due to accusations hurled at high profile sportsmen of their use and abuse of such. There’s nothing bad about using human growth hormone for as long as it’s taken as intended, as HGH is actually a naturally occurring peptide which is produced by the human pituitary gland. It acts as a messenger to aid someone’s growth and development. In adults, it helps regulates metabolism and keep good body composition.

That being said, Hypertropin has an amino acid that is in likeness to natural human growth hormone. In it’s injectable form when used, acts as supplement to elevate someone’s HGH and IGF - 1 levels if they are deficient. It is a known fact that some individuals are unable to naturally produce sufficient human growth hormone thus, Hypertropin fills in the gap. Human growth hormone, has been actually considered as miracle drug for a lot of conditions which ranges from anti-aging remedy to treatment of osteoporosis and have been auspiciously administered to both young and old alike.

I’m Wide Awake

Filed under: musings — juliana @ 12:42 am

Yes, I’m wide awake and I’m in no way winding down. So, here I am writing OPPS. Are you doing the same? I bet, most of you now are in lala-land for those that are located in the same time zone as I am. For those of you on the other side of the world, I’m joining you.

My husband has been off from work, and he’s in no way sleeping yet. In fact, he is busy in the kitchen preparing our midnight snacks. Hey, I only get this perk once in a blue moon. So I make him experiment in the kitchen. After all, what’s so hard if he’s only preparing tea, right?

Collection Of Fine Paintings

Filed under: priceless treats — juliana @ 12:34 am

Decorating is my passion. It’s something I have acquired since childhood, probably because I was exposed to my mom’s passion of the same. That’s why my interest carried on and was able to explore and experiment on my own when I was still single and had my own apartment. What a nice way to express oneself! No limitations, no boundaries. Now that I’m married, my choice of decor had shifted a bit, as I have to take into account that there’s a man in the house. Good thing, my husband shares the same deep appreciation of great art and painting.

That being said, I have developed a keen eye on art and painting. One online site worth visiting is the home of Park West Art Gallery where the biggest fine art collections all over the world can be seen. You not only get to pick the paintings that you love at their auctions; you also learn about the artist’s life through their biographies. Since my appreciation for paintings and arts is not superficial, knowing the artist’s life makes it more personal and makes me want to bring home their handiwork all the more. This is exactly what makes Park West Art Gallery an easy choice for painting resource. I was pleased with what I saw, I’m sure you will be pleased too.

Last Day At The Ritz

Filed under: travel — juliana @ 8:05 pm

As always whenever we go away, our last breakfast is through room service. The night before, we always order our food and set the time of it’s delivery. That way, we take our breakfast leisurely and not have to go out of our hotel room. We ordered light, and it was indeed a wise choice.

This is Ritz-Carlton’s symbol. A symbol that will linger on our minds for a while, just like when we stayed at the Ritz in London in 2003.

Are You Interested On Getting A Proxy?

Filed under: priceless treats — juliana @ 7:59 pm

The internet is such a fun and enriching environment to be in. Why? Because we learn and see a lot of things we would not have seen just by reading books alone. Having said this, whenever we surf online, we also open ourselves to a lot of monitors which includes our surfing activities being logged while we visit different sites. It’s inevitable that we are letting our IP address known which can be stored on record that can trace us back. The only way to avoid this is to use proxies. We can put a stop to our privacy being compromised. By getting a PHproxy, it can be done.

I never thought I can avail of such till I stumbled upon Proxies.us. Would you consider getting one?
