This household have been running on a different mode. We haven’t had the normal beat for the past few days because of my involvement with a friend as I’ve written here.
My friend’s siblings are here temporarily(a few days). Her immediate relatives are scattered all over the US and the Philippines hence, it’s just her husband and daughter, us and a few of her husband’s relatives here in New York. It’s tough, and it’s disheartening.
It will pass, and we’ll get through it, only that it won’t be soon. My heart says don’t go; yet, I think it’s the easier way.

it is always hard dealing with sickness of a loved one because there is nothing you can really do but make them feel that you are there no matter what… we can’t make the pain go away nor tell them everything’s going to be just fine because we don’t know that… You are a GREAT friend for helping her and her family!

Hello Julia,
I’m certain things like this is not easy to accept but I guess it will help ease the pain if you stay positive by being ready for something more painful. Things happen for a reason. Let God take care of your friend. He knows best.
